We Are St. Mary's
Prospective 9th Grader
Shadow days are required as part of the acceptance process, and is the BEST way to see what it is like to be a student at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory. Prospective 9th grade students are paired up with current 9th graders and have the opportunity to spend an entire day in the shoes of a man of St. Mary’s. If the applicant knows a current 9th grader, he is welcome to shadow with him. If a current student is not known, we will pair the applicant with a host who shares similar interests.
The shadow day schedule is as follows:
|8:15 am||- Arrival at the Admissions Center/pickup by the host|
|8:30am-11:30||- Mass (if a Wednesday or Friday) then periods 1-4|
|12:00pm-1:00pm||- Period 5|
|1:00pm||- Return to Admissions Center; interview with the Dean of Admissions; pickup|
Shadow Days MUST be scheduled in advance at least 3 days prior to the desired day.
